Although the variable-rate manure application (VRMA) offers a promising solution to overcome the shortcomings of the conventional uniform-rate (UR) application, effectively incorporating this technique into precision agriculture solutions presents a substantial challenge. This study entailed developing a quantitative analysis tool to calculate manu...
Article
Poor manure management practices lead to excess nitrogen (N) and phosphorous (P) in soils that are still common in many countries in Europe. One way to optimize the economic returns and at the same time minimize the environmental impacts of poor manure management is by Variable Rate Manure (VRM) application. This work aimed at the evaluation of pot...

Build two platforms which include a visible and near infrared sensor, a gamma ray sensor, a draft sensor, a depth sensor, an electrochemical sensor, and an RTK-GPS system. These proximal sensors are useful for monitoring online soil properties. A compactRIO is used as a central unit and Labview software is used to gather the information coming from all the sensors. I took part in this ongoing project from January to May 2019 at Ghent University as member of Precision Scoring team.
