The problem of insufficient signal coverage of 5G base stations can be solved by building new base stations in areas with weak signal coverage. However, due to construction costs and other factors, it is not possible to cover all areas. In general, areas with high traffic and weak coverage should be given priority. Although many scientists have car...

Gasoline is the primary fuel used in small cars, and the exhaust emissions from gasoline combustion have a significant impact on the atmosphere. Efforts to clean up gasoline have therefore focused primarily on reducing the olefin and sulfur content of gasoline, while maintaining as much of the octane content as possible. With the aim of minimizing...

The aim of this paper is to obtain the image information based on a given image of mold flux and to obtain the features that can describe the dynamical difference. The melting and crystallization dynamics of the slag were analyzed using the autoregressive moving average (ARIMA) time series model and data fitting method. Firstly, the binary image of...
Article
At present, the existing evaluation methods of teaching quality in universities are oversimplified, which cannot distinguish the teaching quality of different courses. The comprehensive comments given by experts also have not been well utilized. To effectively use the comprehensive comments, two scoring models based on technical feature and big dat...

Numerous literatures have done in-depth studies on driver fatigue detection, but rarely consider that the process of fatigue is gradually deepening with time, still no model available that can reflect this process. Aiming at this problem, a fatigue driving detection model with a time accumulation effect was proposed. The traditional BP neural netwo...

The research of visibility detection in foggy days is of great significance to both road traffic and air transport safety. Based on the meteorological and video data collected from an airport, a deep Recurrent Neural Network (RNN) model was established in this study to predict the visibility. First, the Fourier Transform was used to extract feature...

For the problem of 5G network planning, a certain number of locations should be selected to build new base stations in order to solve the weak coverage problems of the existing network. Considering the construction cost and some other factors, it is impossible to cover all the weak coverage areas so it is necessary to consider the business volume a...

Fatigue driving has always received a lot of attention, but few studies have focused on the fact that human fatigue is a cumulative process over time, and there are no models available to reflect this phenomenon. Furthermore, the problem of incorrect detection due to facial expression is still not well addressed. In this article, a model based on B...

By summarizing the organization and development of mathematical modeling competitions at home and abroad, the development status and existing problems of modeling competitions were introduced. The accumulated experience of author’s team in mathematical modeling was introduced from three aspects: students' ability that can be developed, available co...

By establishing correlation coefficient matrix, huge sample data of second-hand car trading was processed so that, the irrelevant variables were deleted, as well as the missing and outlier values were handled. Then, the main variables have been extracted by using Xgboost algorithm. 13 of 36 major characteristic variables affecting the second-hand c...
Conference Paper
Visibility is a very important meteorological observation factor, the reduction of which will cause inconvenience to traffic, and even cause traffic accidents. It is of great significance to estimate and monitor the visibility. In this paper, a foggy image visibility detection algorithm based on Fourier transform and convolution neural network was...

Uniaxial and notched tension samples are utilized to investigate the damage and failure of titanium alloy Ti6Al4V. The strain fields on the samples are obtained by the digital image correlation (DIC) method. Strain localization occurs before fracturing in all samples, and the width and size of the localized zone are characterized. Slant fractures a...
Conference Paper
With the rapid development of computer vision and image processing technology, the detection of abnormal behavior in video has gradually attracted more and more scholars’ attention. This paper proposes a fast method to detect abnormal behavior in surveillance videos. Firstly, the Visual Background Extraction (ViBE) method was used to extract the fo...

Fatigue driving is one of the main causes of traffic accidents. In order to prevent the occurrence of fatigue driving, driver fatigue detection technology was studied based on multi-information fusion method. Face detection was carried out by combining the improved Yolov3 algorithm with Kalman filtering algorithm. An algorithm based on lifting tree...

The mechanical behavior of paper materials under compression in the out-of-plane direction is highly nonlinear. If the influence of the surface topography is not taken into account, the stress-strain curve of paper materials in the loading process is a typical example of materials with J-shaped compressive curves. When compression is released, the...

The surface topography plays a very important role in the mechanical behavior of paper materials, especially for the compressive properties of thin sheet. When the surface of the cylindrical indenter is very smooth, the actual contact area under force is usually much smaller than the nominal contact area because of the surface roughness of the pape...

In this paper, the loading force-deformation behavior of paper and paper stacks in the out-of-plane direction is investigated in detail. According to the common literature, the paper is regarded as an elastic material, the paper body is divided into two surface structures and one internal structure. For a given total deformation, the deformations o...
Conference Paper

The surface topography of paper can range from very rough to extremely smooth, which has significant influences on mechanical properties of paper materials, especially the compressive behavior of paper in the out-of-plane direction. Normally, the stress-strain relations of most of the materials are calculated by using the nominal contact area, whic...
Conference Paper
Full-text available
A number of models have been proposed with the objective of predicting the stress-strain behaviour of paper materials in out-of-plane (ZD) direction, but the simulation research is still quite limited. The mechanical behaviour of paper materials under compression is highly nonlinear, and it is also exhibits quite complicated unloading behaviour whe...
