Introduction
Ph.D. in Language and Culture Studies, and professor at the University of Antioquia, Colombia. He is currently Coordinator of the Research Group: Language, Culture and Society. His research focuses on the field of Sociocultural Pragmatics, Intercultural Pragmatics, Interactional Politeness and Address Forms. He participates in different national and international projects.
