Introduction
In developing countries like India, one of the most serious ecological threats we face today is water pollution. With the ever-increasing demand for clean energy and water, photocatalysis is a hotly debated topic. My research focuses on developing nanostructures with supreme degradation efficiency and less toxicity ensuring the scope of further utilization of the resultant treated water in practical applications.

In the current scenario, microbial infections are major concern and they multiply so rapidly throughout the world; also, they cause serious bio illness and can even results in death among humans. Complexes framed by crystalline metal ions have been used as medications, because of a wide range of organic activities against harmful microorganisms. In...

The current cancer Survey reports liver cancer is the second leading cause of cancer related death worldwide. Active liver cancer research is underway as several new therapies are emerging to treat it, with more showing promise. Our present study aims at preparation of silver/zinc oxide nanocomposites for potential applications in antibacterial, an...

Slow evaporation solution growth method was adapted for the effective growth of single crystals of piperazinium nicotinic acid (PNA) in distilled water. Single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis was used to investigate the cell parameters of crystalline PNA and the grown crystal belongs to triclinic crystal family with the space group Pī. 3-D molec...
Article
The current work reports, synthesis of co-precipitated 5 mol% lead doped zinc oxide nanocomposites by varying ultrasonication period as 7200 s, 14400 s and 21600 s hexagonal wurtzite structured, well defined (101) characteristic X-ray diffraction patterns of Pb/ZnO indicate that doping of lead and ultrasonication periods significantly altered the c...
Article
The Slow Evaporation Solution Technique (SEST) was used to produce a single crystal of Piperazinium bis(2-carboxypyridine)monohydrate (PBCPM). The lattice parameters and molecular structure of the grown crystal were determined using Single Crystal X-Ray Diffraction. The intramolecular and intermolecular interactions were visualised using Hirshfeld...

Single crystal of hybrid framework of Piperazinium Perchlorate (PPCL) has been achieved by Slow Evaporation Solution Technique (SEST). The result of various growth parameters and different physico-chemical characterization of PPCL crystals were studied. The Single Crystal X-Ray Diffraction was used to identify the 3D molecular structure and unit ce...

Based on host-guest chemistry, a semiorganic NLO material 2-amino-5-nitropyridinium tetrafluoroborate [2A5NPFB] was synthesized and grown as single crystals. SXRD of 2A5NPFB reveals its crystal structural details as orthorhombic crystal system, Fdd2 space group, a = 22.474 (1) Å b = 30.127 (9) Ǻ c = 4.9584 (1) Ǻ and α = β = γ = 90°. Protonation sit...

Calcium oxalate monohydrate (COM) and calcium oxalate dihydrate (COD) are frequently found in urinary calculi (stones). Calcium chelation by citric acid can play a major role in chelation therapy of naphrolithiasis. COM crystals were grown in laboratory using gel growth method, and the inhibitory effect of aqueous citrate on the growth of COM cryst...

By simple hydrothermal method, nanorods of barium boate were successfully loaded on reduced gra-phene oxide sheets. Powder XRD confirms the incorporation of barium borate (2q ¼ 29 , (202)) along with the transition of graphene oxide (2q ¼ 12 , (001)) into reduced graphene oxide (2q ¼ 25 , (002)). In the FTIR spectra, presence of characteristic abso...

Optical nonlinearity of 4-dimethyl aminopyridinium dihydrogen phosphate (DMAPDP) was studied using continuous wave of diode pumped Nd:YAG laser (532nm, 50mW). The nonlinear refractive index, nonlinear absorption coefficient and nonlinear optical (NLO) susceptibility of the sample were found to be in the order of 10-8cm²/W, 10-3cm/W and 10-6 esu res...
Article
Reduced graphene oxide (rGO) was prepared by reduction method using various reductants like hydrazine, sodium borohydride and ascorbic acid. XRD and Raman analysis confirmed the effective removal of functional groups in GO. SEM revealed that rGO consists of thin crumpled and disordered sheets closely associated with each other. Blue shift in UV-abs...
