Project
The collection of stamps has been one of the most popular hobbies in the world. Of all the reasons why people collect stamps, their inherent design and beauty are perhaps the most important reason and motivation: Stamps can represent miniature works of art and can become valuable, rare collectibles over time. This project covers all aspects of entomophilately, the collection and study of insect-related stamps.
Project
The aim of this project is to increase knowledge of the diversity of Ephydridae from Europe and adjacent regions. The focus of this project is therefore (a) to publish faunistic data from the West Palaeactic Region, (b) to describe new species, (c) to prepare identification keys of European Ephydridae, and (d) to collect relevant literature. Ziel dieses Projektes ist es die Kenntnis um die Diversität der Ephydridae in Europa und angrenzenden Regionen zu erweitern. Schwerpunkte dieses Projektes sind daher (a) faunistische Nachweise aus der Westpaläarktis zu publizieren, (b) neue Arten zu beschreiben, (c) Bestimmungsschlüssel zu erarbeiten und (d) relevante Literatur zu sammeln.
