Introduction
y research focuses on Post-secondary transitions for individuals with Autism. I use robotics, simulations, and video-games to help with soft-skills needed for transition to STEM degrees and ultimately careers. I have over a dozen publications in the area of STEM, gaming, and transition. I present and consult on a local, national, and international level. I run a four-night five day residential program called Academy NExT a summer transition program for students with disabilities. The purpose of Academy NExT is to develop communication skills that support employment, socialization within the community, & explore job opportunities through college experiences and improve transition. I am currently working on a multi-national project with microrobotics.
