Introduction
My research focuses on two related avenues: Teaching and learning physics knowledge at university and high school; and the use of the history and philosophy of science as tools to help organize teaching and learning in the science curriculum. In the last decade, I have begun a line of research based on design that includes both the design, implementation and evaluation of Teaching/Learning Sequences, as well as interventionist research that generates new science education knowledge.
