Introduction
Jared’s research interests focus on intersectional identities within the LGBTQIA+ community and cultural safety training for clinicians. He recently finished research for a project focused on developing adequate cultural safety training for rural mental health professionals in Michigan who treat transgender and gender diverse patients. His dissertation focused on the intersectional experience of individuals who are asexual and transgender/gender diverse.
