Introduction
Jan-Maarten Luursema works at the Department of Surgery, Radboud University Medical Center, Nijmegen, the Netherlands. Jan-Maarten is responsible for laparoscopic simulator training which includes developing training courses and training technology. His research interests include the role of individual differences in skills development. He is currently supervising research into the role of impulsiveness in damage control, and serious gaming as a training tool.
