This study aims to get a length-based assessment of the brackish water pike stocks in the Baltic Sea. Basic parameters like growth, mortality, and condition will be estimated. Furthermore, the LBSPR package will be used to estimate F, F/FMSY, SPR, and length at 50% and 95% selectivity.
This study aims to get different growth models of the Northern Pike (Esox lucius) from brackish and freshwater sites at the baltic coast of Germany. Possible differences in growth caused by the utilization of marine or freshwater food sources will be determined by using isotope analysis.
