Dr. Leary's research/teaching career as a professor spans more than 37 years. He is the original inventor of high-speed flow cytometry and rare-event analysis. He and his lab have published more than 160 papers and 240 presentations at national/international meetings.
He retired in August, 2015 becoming Professor Emeritus at Purdue University. In September, 2015 he moved to Santa Fe, NM and founded Aurora Life Technologies, LLC, providing consulting services and designs of portable devices.
