This article describes the perceptions of science educators in Texas who attended a statewide professional development experience addressing the linguistic needs of Latinx students in the science education classroom. A survey tool was developed, validated, and employed to measure both quantitative and qualitative responses to their experiences before and after the session concerning Latinx and EL needs in the science curriculum and classroom.
