Introduction
My research interests are in the area of analytical, environmental, and forensic chemistry. I enjoy working with students to develop and apply new field and laboratory methods in analytical chemistry. We are currently assessing microplastic pollution in the Mississippi River system and at oyster reefs in the northern Gulf of Mexico; analyzing trace evidence from 3D-printed guns; using unmanned aerial vehicles in atmospheric studies; evaluating passive samplers for measuring atmospheric mercury; and examining trace elemental distribution in tree cores, I'd be happy to discuss our progress on these projects with you - perhaps we can even collaborate!
