Diabetes is a chronic degenerative disease of the endocrine pancreas characterized by hyperglycemia due to either insulin resistance or relative absence of insulin or both. Nearly 285 million people are suffering from the T2DM, which is approximately 90% of all diabetes Cases. Additionally, metabolic syndrome increases the chances of occurrence of Type 2 DM associated with increased risk of cardiovascular complications. However, there has not been any report demonstrating the activity of the compounds of the Curcuma longa against the three receptors of Alpha-amylase, fructose 1,6 bp, and glucokinase. Keeping this in view, the objective of the present study is to perform In silico molecular docking and ADME/T analysis of some isolated compounds of Curcuma longa L against three receptors of Type-2 diabetes.
