Introduction
Jacinto Blas V Mantaring is currently the chair of the Department of Clinical Epidemiology, College of Medicine of the University of the Philippines Manila. He is also the overall chair of the University of the Philippines, Manila Research Ethics Board (UPMREB). Just this year (2018), he has been appointed as the chair of the Single Joint Research Ethics Board (SJREB) of the Department of Health and has recently been elected the Chair of the Philippine Health Research Ethics Network (PHREN). Jacinto does research in Epidemiology, Neonatology and Pediatrics and Research ethics. He is currently working on several researches related to research ethics.
