Goals and problems of study: the development of a new methodology of multi-agent systems, which is characterized by the following features: the focus on management of computing in a heterogeneous distributed computing environments using the methods of multi-criteria decision-making; the accounting of specifics of the problem domains for a management of the user’s task solving processes in distributed computing environment; the usage of a agent-based hierarchical structure of the system; the using of trained agents (autonomous intelligent agents) with the given roles; the functioning on the basis of a self-organization paradigm. The essence of the study. The implementation of the study is directly linked to the creation of a unique methodology for organizing problem-oriented multiagent systems. This methodology based on the development and usage of new models, methods and algorithms of agents interaction, as well as on the specialized tools to support their implementation. The relevance of study is conditioned by steady growth of requirements to the efficiency of control systems in modern computing heterogeneous distributed computing environments. According to leading experts in the field of parallel and distributed computing, the required efficacy can only be achieved at the expense of intellectualization of these systems. The novelty and practical significance of the proposed study are: the complex usage of methods for conceptual programming, self-organization and adaptive learning, simulation modeling and seminatural modeling; the usage of intelligent agents for the organization of multi-agent systems; the ensuring problem orientation and correct functioning of agents; and the automation of design agents. Implementation of this study will allow realizing a new approach to the organization and the usage of problem-oriented multi-agent systems for effectively manage of scalable applications in heterogeneous distributed computing environments in support of interdisciplinary studies.
