The esports industry has grown rapidly over the last decade and high-performance organisations with multidisciplinary teams are now a prominent feature within it. However, a striking paucity of research exists on coaching in this distinct digital domain. The goal of this project is to firstly explore the esports coaching context and the experiences of coaches within it, then, in turn, to examine the effectiveness of esports coach development opportunities.
