Introduction
Isa Ali Ibrahim is an internationally recognized researcher, academic, policymaker, regulatory expert & teacher. He has over 160 publications (some here on ResearchGate) to his credit in Conference Papers, Journal Articles, Convocation Lectures and Keynote Articles amongst others. His area of expertise and interests include: e-governance, Digital Economy, & Cybersecurity. He was the Chief Editor of the InfoTech Regulator Magazine and a recipient of over 120 Awards locally and internationally.

To gain insight from key players responsible for ICT policy-making, regulations, and broadband deployment regarding strategies for the availability, adoption, and affordability of broadband to unserved and underserved communities and actionable recommendations regarding how broadband gaps might best be closed for an inclusive digital economy. Bridging the broadband gap in the unserved and underserved communities has the potential to enhance the welfare of the people by empowering them to participate equally and benefit from the digital economy as they connect and engage in digital services, especially in critical areas such as healthcare, education, employment, e-commerce, emergency communications, government, and other essential services. The ability of those living in the unserved and underserved community to access, afford and adopt digital services and use the services in a meaningful way will ultimately bridge some of the prevailing socio-economic gaps and effect positive social change.
