Introduction
Irini Chaidi is a fellow Researcher at IIT N.C.S.R. Demokritos and a teacher for students with special education needs. She is a headteacher at an Elementary school. She is currently working on his Ph.D. on Serious Games for Autism Children, Digital Games for emotional and social adaptation skills for children with autism spectrum disorder and Game-Based Learning for students with at the Department of Special Education at the University of Thessaly, Greece. Her research areas include Gaming in the classroom, Motivation and Differentiated instruction with the contribution of ICTs.
