Social face evaluation is a common and consequential element of everyday life based on the judgement of trustworthiness. However, the particular facial regions that guide such trustworthiness judgements are largely unknown. Project
The main objective of this study is to investigate the effect of watching short humorous video clips (similar to humor-based positive psychology strategies) on stress and well-being. Moreover, the association of moderating variables (personality traits, resilience, negative thinking, perceived stress, chronic stress, coping with stress, life satisfaction, somatic symptoms, habits of watching humorous video clips on social media or television) are examined.
Project
The study investigates ethnicity-specific effects regarding the judgement of trustworthiness of faces as well as facial parts. Furthermore, determinants and features that influence the perceived trustworthiness of faces shall be examined.
