Introduction
Dr. Ionut Biliuta's main academic interests are the history of the Orthodox Church in the 20th century, with a special emphasis on the Romanian and Greek Orthodox Churches, antisemitism and racism in modern Orthodox theology, fascism and Orthodox clergymen, transferability of various languages of knowledge between Western and Eastern Europe in the late 19th and the first half of the 20th century, the survival of fascist ideas in Orthodox post-Communist milieus, and fascist hagiographies.
