Betonarme çeliğin korozyonu, dünya çapında betonarme yapıların bozulmasının ana nedenlerinden biridir ve bu nedenle bugün inşaat mühendislerinin karşı karşıya olduğu en büyük sorundur. Betonarme içindeki çelik donatıyı korozyona karşı korumak için çeşitli yöntemler geliştirilmiştir. Bunlardan en yaygın olanı inhibitör kullanımıdır. İnhibitörler, betona küçük konsantrasyonlarda eklenen, betonarme yapılarda korozyonun başlamasını önleyen veya korozyon başlama süresini uzatan kimyasallardır. Bu projenin amacı, betonarme yapılarda kullanılan korozyon önleyicilerin çimentolu harçlarda agresif ortamlara karşı gösterdiği etkinin araştırılmasıdır. In this project, the effects of green corrosion inhibitors on reinforcement corrosion as well as the effects on cement mortars are examined. Electrochemical corrosion measurement methods on the reinforcement are examined, as well as weight losses are determined. In cementitious mortars, on the other hand, mechanical properties, durability losses in aggressive medium conditions and microstructure studies are investigated. Thus, it is aimed to examine the eco-friendly green corrosion inhibitors in concrete and steel reinforcement in reinforced concrete structures. When the results are examined, the methods of obtaining the environmentally friendly green corrosion inhibitors and their optimum dosages are determined.
