Description
- The research focus on Sustainability and Higher Education with the aim to study university actions towards the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) looking into different aspects, policies, process of teaching and learning, research and outreach. The study intends to contribute to the redefinition of universities' roles to archive the 2030 Agenda in Mozambique looking to the country’s context.

This study aims to analyze the Mozambican used lubricant oil
(ULO) management system and review the probable environmental impacts of its inappropriate disposal. The assessment was based on the identification of the different sources of ULO generation in the ingrowth automotive and industrial park in Mozambique. The quantification included an estim...
In this study, the national education policies and the selected four universities policies were analysed to evaluate their intent to the alignment with the sustainability. An assessment tool based on the 17 SDGs and on Mozambique’s commitment goals to the 2030 Agenda was developed as instrument of analysis. NVivo 12 software was used to codify the...
Complex permeability and permittivity spectra of Ni-Zn Ferrite/Cu hybrid granular composite materials have been studied in the RF to microwave frequency range. The electrical conductivity σ shows insulating properties in the volume fraction of Cu particles below φ = 0.14. A large jump in conductivity was observed between φ = 0.14 and 0.24 indicatin...
Electromagnetic properties of acicular (needle-like) Fe76Co24 nanoparticle composite materials have been studied in microwave frequency range up to 20 GHz. The Fe76Co24 particles are commercially available acicular Fe76Co24 nanoparticles with an approximate length and diameter of 100 and 25 nm, respectively. The Fe76Co24 nanocomposites were prepare...
Complex permeability and permittivity spectra of Fe50Co50/Cu hybrid granular composite materials have been studied in the RF to microwave frequency range. At low Cu particle content, the Fe50Co50/Cu hybrid sample shows a metallic percolative property with the electrical conductivity value about 0.1 S/cm. However, the low frequency plasmonic (LFP) s...
Relative complex permeability and permittivityspectra of submicron Ni granular composite materials have been studied from RF to microwave frequency range for realization of the negative permittivity and permeability spectra. The Ni particles are spherical in shape with the average diameter of 170 nm; the electrical conductivity of compacted particl...
The electromagnetic proprieties of Fe53Ni47 granular composite materials and Fe53Ni47/Cu hybrid granular composites have been studied by measuring the relative complex permeability and permittivity spectra as well as the ac electrical conductivity. In the Fe53Ni47 composite, the variation of the ac conductivity at 1 kHz with the particle volume con...
Electromagnetic properties of hybrid composite materials containing copper and permalloy (Fe53Ni47 alloy) particles have been investigated in the RF to microwave frequency range up to 20 GHz. Double negative permittivity and permeability spectra have been observed in the percolated state of the hybrid composite material. The negative permittivitysp...
