This work aims to study the deformation in the archipelagos of São Pedro and São Paulo and Trindade Isle, using structural analysis, in order to understand the tectonic regime, and the tension field acting in each of the studied islands. It is also intended to propose a model of joint tectonic evolution for the Island, contributing to the understanding of the placement of the islands in the South Atlantic. In this way, it will be possible to achieve a regional and integrated approach to deformation in the South Atlantic, including the identification of paleo-forces and current tensors, with the aim of establishing the relationship between the zones of associated transforming faults and the tectonic evolution of each archipelago. Seeking such specific objectives: • Detail the deformation in each of the archipelagos; • Define deformation regimes and phases; • Reconstruct tensions exerted during the forming and deforming processes; • Establish relationships and influence between the transforming zones and the archipelagos.
