Introduction
I've been thinking about immunology for several years now, especially concerning viral infections.
And also on the implications of the theory of evolution in the field of immunology.

The phenomenon of facilitation of viral infections by antibodies (ADE antibody dependent enhancement) as well as the resistance of agammaglobulinemia patients to certain viruses are in contradiction with the protective role of antibodies affirmed by classical immunology. This must be compared to the opsonizing antibodies that promote the specific p...

Since the reporting of the first cases of Covid-19 in China and the publication of the first sequence of SARS-Cov-2 in December 2019, the virus has undergone numerous mutations and the disease may have evolved into a milder form. The increase in PCR positive cases in late summer 2020 did not lead to the expected increase in hospitalizations, ICU ad...
In an article from the end of June, I tried to explain the apparent loss of virulence of SARS-CoV-2 by the evolution of the virus. I report here new observations that confirm the current attenuation of the virulence of SARS-CoV-2. I proposed that the evolution of CoV-2-SARSS can be related to the host immune system. This hypothesis was based on the...
The low percentage of individuals in the population with symptomatic Covid-19 can be explained by cross-immunity with other coronaviruses. This phenomenon is based on cellular immunity. On the other hand, humoral immunity (antibody-mediated) could be partly responsible for some immunopathological phenomena.
The balance between this beneficial cellu...

ABSTRACT
How can we explain the temporal evolution of the pandemic?
An analysis of the curves of the epidemic at the late stage shows the evolution towards the benignity of the virus throughout the world. There is a prolonged increase in new cases with a steady decrease in severe cases and deaths.
Cross-immunity with common cold coronaviruses has b...

It therefore seems to be confirmed that the emerging virus has adapted to the host immune system by modifying its transmissibility...

Oxazolopyridocarbazole derivatives (OPCd) are intercalating polycyclic molecules related to the anti-tumor drug 9-hydroxyellipticinium (Celiptium). From a pharmacological point of view, OPCd compounds are highly cytotoxic to malignant cultured cells but inactive or only weakly active against experimental tumors in vivo. Extensive physicochemical an...
The possibility of introducing definite amounts of nonpermeant molecules into electropermeabilized living cells has been approached by quantifying the amounts of Lucifer Yellow (LY; a 457-Da highly fluorescent molecule) and Phytolacca americana (Pokeweed) antiviral protein (PAP; a 30,000-Da ribosome-inactivating protein) retained by the cells after...
The ability of oxazolopyridocarbazole (OPC) derivatives to interact with DNA in living bacteria through reversible intercalation has been determined by using as probes their selective mutagenic effect on Salmonella typhimurium TA 1977 and TA 1537 as detected by frame-shift-1 reversion, the absence of intervention of the error-prone repair system on...
As a general rule, ellipticine derivatives are mutagenic and intercalate into double-stranded nucleic acids. We have tested a new fluorescent ellipticine compound, 10[(1-carboxy-2-methylpropylidene)-amino]-9-hydroxy-2-methylell ipticinium (val-NMHE), for establishing the relationship between the amount of drug bound to nucleic acids in situ in Salm...

The fluorescence of the aliphatic (amino acido)-N2-methyl-9-hydroxyellipticinium (AA-NMHE) derivatives [Auclair, C., Voisin, E., Banoun, H., Bernardou, J., Meunier, B., & Paoletti, C. (1984) J. Med. Chem. 27, 1161-1166], namely, dehydroglycino-NMHE, dehydroalanino-NMHE, dehydrovalino-NMHE, and dehydroleucino-NMHE, has been characterized. The change...
Aliphatic amino acids glycine, alanine, valine, and leucine were conjugated to the antitumor drug N2-methyl-9-hydroxyellipticinium (NMHE) through a peroxidase-catalyzed oxidation reaction. NMR studies of the adducts so obtained have indicated (i) that the amino acids were linked to NMHE between the nitrogen of their primary amine and the C-10 posit...
Alkaline dimethylsulfoxide as a superoxide anion-generating system in association with cytochrome c as a superoxide anion-indicating scavenger has been used to develop a new assay for superoxide dismutase. The assay is sensitive (one unit of enzymatic activity is provided by 110 ng of purified copper-containing superoxide dismutase) and highly spec...

How to try to reinterpret certain observations in immunology in the light of the theory of evolution
The accepted dogma is that the cells of the immune system are "programmed" to defend organisms against pathogens. This is not consistent with the theory of evolution: how could this programming have been selected at the cellular level?
Could not the behaviour of these cells be explained more simply?
They would seek to optimize their supply of nutrient resources.
