Introduction
Dr. Hasret Saygı earned her PhD from Boğaziçi University, Istanbul, and holds a Master’s degree from King’s College London. Currently based in London, she is an Honorary Research Fellow at University College London's IOE. Saygı’s research specialities are sociolinguistcs and multilingualism, and in her works, she explores intercultural communication and the relationship between language and identity from a discourse analytical and ethnographic perspective.
