Introduction
Hashmatullah Tareen is a senior teaching assistant in the Department of English, Kandahar University, Afghanistan. He has a master's degree in teaching English as a second language from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Shah Alam, Malaysia. He is currently a PhD student in the department of curriculum and methodology at Shaanxi Normal University, Xian, China. His research interests include teaching and learning, student-centered learning in higher education.
