(Expert cricket coaches' sources of knowledge of the fast bowling technique - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ql4CpYcNSnM )
Foot strikes of the pace-bowling delivery stride produce large ground reaction forces, which may be linked to injury, yet the biomechanics of the follow-through are unknown. This study assessed tibial accelerations across the delivery and follow-through foot strikes in pace bowlers and evaluated relationships between these measures and five common...
Twenty expert coaches were interviewed exploring their conceptions of the fastbowling technique and how they coached it. Coaches noted highly individualised
techniques, that altered at varying times, due to game structure and tactical
imperatives, which often required technical intervention. Previous have failed to
identify these changes; however,...
The purpose of this study was to investigate expert coaches’ conceptions (internal models) of the fast-bowling technique, how they coached it and how they acquired the knowledge for both.
Twenty expert cricket coaches from around the world, took part in semi-structured interviews, with all interviews being transcribed verbatim. Thematic analysis (...

One of the ways for any discipline to develop is to look to the work, practices, knowledge bases and lessons learned from other disciplines who have trodden similar paths before us, preferable those more closely related (Lyle, 2018).

Does anyone know of any studies demonstarting a relationship between foot pronation and muscular activity in the extensor chain?
I'm particularly interested in the effect of pronation (or not) on gluteal activation in simple tasks.
can anyone help please?
I'm trying to see if there are 3 dimensional models of foot biomechanics in relation to the 33 joints of the foot; I can't seem to find anything with more detail than rear- and fore-foot analysis, and then none of which discusses the impact of these mechanics with the rest of the body.
