Introduction
I am a PhD student at Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE), Budapest. I am broadly interested in psychometrics, test-taking experience, and individual differences in cognitive abilities and personality. I am working on the measurement of cognitive abilities. In my PhD thesis, I developed a new computerized adaptive test (CAT) to measure fluid reasoning and examine the psychometric and psychological aspects of the test.

Although many fluid reasoning (Gf) tests have been developed, there is a lack of figural tests measuring its lower-order process factors simultaneously. The present article introduces the development of the Multidimensional Induction-Deduction Computerized Adaptive Test (MID-CAT) to measure two process factors of Gf. The MID-CAT is designed to prov...
Several studies found a low correlation between two measures of test-taking effort: self-reported effort (SRE) and response time effort (RTE). This study examined test-taking motivation in low-stake cognitive ability testing (n = 1614) by applying expectancy-value theory as the framework. We investigated the complex relationship between test perfor...
Psychometric Properties of the Scale of Positive and Negative Experience (SPANE) have been extensively evaluated in numerous countries, but not in Indonesia. This study investigated factor structure, reliability, measurement invariance, and validity of SPANE scores among a sample of Indonesian university students ( N = 405). Multiple measurement mo...
This tutorial introduces the graded response model (GRM), a tool for testing measurement precision within the item response theory (IRT) paradigm, which is useful for informing researchers about the item and person properties of their measurement. The tutorial aims to guide applied researchers through a unidimensional GRM analysis in the R environm...
Previous studies suggest that competition and motivation are reliable predictors of academic dishonesty. However, little is known about the role of situational factors in predicting academic dishonesty. Some studies have found that online learning is more prone to academic dishonesty, but others have found the opposite. This study focuses on academ...
Although many studies have been carried out on the psychometric aspects of computerized adaptive testing (CAT), its psychological aspects are less researched. Early studies claimed that CAT can be more motivating and induce less anxiety than traditional fixed-item tests (FIT). The purpose of this systematic review and meta-analysis was to gain a co...
Quarter-life crisis is a psychosocial crisis in which individuals are vulnerable to experiencing psychological distress. This study examines Personal Growth Initiative (PGI) in determining the effect of uncertainty intoleran...
The 50-item International Personality Item Pool version of the Big Five Markers (IPIP-BFM) is an open-source and widely used measure of the big five personality traits. A short version of this measure (IPIP-BFM-25) has been developed using the classical test theory approach. No study was performed to examine the psychometric properties of a longer...
Responses provided by unmotivated survey participants can threaten both the quality and validity in psychological assessment. When two types of tests (ability and non-ability) are administered, it is not obvious which test should be administered first in order to maximize effort in responding by participants. Currently, there is no applicable guide...
Recent advances in cognitive abilities theory provided by the Cattell-Horn-Carroll (CHC) model have made it essential to develop a new validated brief self-report measure of cognitive abilities. This paper outlines the development and initial validation of the Self-Report Cognitive Abilities Questionnaire (SRCAQ), a brief measure designed to assess...
Fluid reasoning (Gf) is a central component of human abilities and has been shown to be statistically indistinguishable from general cognitive ability. However, measuring fluid reasoning is not that easy since the operationalization of the construct itself is not conclusive. This situation is exacerbated if the measurements and comparisons are carr...
When examinees perceive a test as low stakes, it is logical to assume that some of them will not put out their maximum effort. This condition makes the validity of the test results more complicated. Although many studies have investigated motivational fluctuation across tests during a testing session, only a small number of studies have investigate...

The big five personality traits are the best acknowledged and most commonly used model in psychology. Therefore, many personality scales are developed based on this personality model. IPIP-BFM-50 is one of the open-source scales measuring big five personality that is widely used by the world researchers. This study is aimed to adapt IPIP-BFM-50 int...
In the subjective well-being (SWB) measurement model, there are three models used by researchers, namely one-factor model (unidimension), two-factors model, and three-factor model. This study aims to test the validity and reliability of the SWB measure and compare the measurement model of SWB with confirmatory factor analysis method. The total subj...

The need for the very brief measure of the Big Five personality dimensions made the Ten-Item Personality Inventory (TIPI) increasingly popular among researchers around the world. The aim of this study was to investigate the psychometric properties of the TIPI in Indonesia sample (501 participants, 68.1% of women) by testing the reliability (alpha r...
Indonesia is a wide country and it consists of thousands of islands. This condition makes many regions in Indonesia do not get the proper educational facilities.
