A number of heterocyclic compounds were prepared by condensing of chalcones in ethanollic NaOH solutions. These Heterocyclic were immediately reacted with phenyl hydrazine, hydrazine hydrate, hydroxylamine hydrochloride and thiourea to obtain the corresponding phenyl pyrazole (A1-A10)), pyrazole acetate (B1-B10), oxazole (C1-C10) and thiopyrimidine...

Ten new Schiff bases of Terphthaldehyde with 4-amino acetophenone have been synthesized and characterized by spectroscopic IR, 1 HNMR and 13 CNMR techniques. The biological screening data of the synthesized compounds were also studied.
Article
In this study two new compounds are prepared 1,3-Oxazolone-5-(4-Cl)-one and Oxazolone-5-(4-NO2)-one derivatives by a reaction of glycine with sebacoyl chloride. The two compounds were identified and characterized by CHN, IR and 1 H-NMR Spectroscopy. Both derivatives show different biological activity according to the program.

The optical characteristics of organic compound, 2-(2,3-dimethyl phenylamino)-N-Phenyl benzamide, for two configurations , compound solution and compound doped PMMA as a film have been investigated. The compound was characterized by elemental analysis, FTIR, 1HMR, 13CNMR and theoretical study by using AM1-semi-empirical method. The optical properti...

Chalcones are synthesized by Claisen-Schmidt condensation, which involves cross-aldol condensation of appropriate aldehydes and ketones by base catalyzed reaction, the new chalcone derivatives synthesized by the reaction aldehyde with their compounds. By microwave assisted synthesis, a considerable increase in the reaction rate has been observed an...

A series of twenty four 2, 5-Bis (aminoheterocycles)-1,4-benzoquinones were prepared in yields ranging from 95-74% via a reaction between hydroquinone and various heteroamine moiety, in methanolic solution under microwave irradiation, the last was synthesized in three main steps; firstly chalcones produced by the claisen Schmidt condensation of ami...

THE SYNTHESIS.of new solid charge - transfer (CT) complexes using 5,6-dimethyl-2,l,3-benzosclnadiazoles as donors with 1,4naphthaquinone; 1,8-dihydroxy anthraquinone, 2-hydroxy-l,4naphthaquinone and 2,3-dichloro-4,5-dicyano p-benzoquinone (DDQ) as acceptor to obtain compounds I-IV, respectively are reported. These complexes are characterized by ele...

Correlations of AM1 and PM3 theoretical data, ¹³C-NMR substituent chemical shifts (¹³C-SCS) and IR carbonyl group wave numbers [ν(C3═O)] were studied using dual substituent parameter (DSP) models for 5-substituted indole-2,3-diones. For the C7 atom a reverse substituent effect attributed to extended π-polarization was observed. On the other hand, t...

The IR C=O stretching vibrational wave numbers, IH, 13Cand 15NNMR chemical shifts are reported for 5-and 6-substituted indole-2,3-diones and correlated with Hammett substituent constants and semiempirical AMI data. As an alternative to the previous assignment of the C=O stretching vibrational wave numbers the two v(C=O) absorption bands can also be...
