Introduction
Hajer received her Ph.D. from the University of Montreal in special educational technology. Subsequently, she completed a research fellowship at OCAD University (Inclusive Design Research Centre) where she worked on inclusive design. She finsihed a postodtoral fellowship at the University of Ottawa (cognitive accessibility and inclusive research). She taught as a teacher educator at different universities during the last 15 years. Her research interests are related to inclusive education, universal design for learning, inclusive research with persons with cognitive disabilities, cognitive accessibility and social and ethical factors that impact technology adoption.
