Introduction
My research is focused on nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), including early biomarkers of lipotoxicity, metabolic reprogramming, and liver cancer. We utilize concepts of network medicine to predict disease trajectories in NAFLD. My goal is to establish a center of excellence in liver disease linked to obesity at the VA Boston Healthcare System.
