Introduction
As the Department Chair, I support research efforts of our faculty/students. Prior to moving into academia, I spent over 17 years working in public health practice, first at the Utah State Health Department, and subsequently at NACCHO (and for NAHDO and Thomson Reuters in between). Because of my cross-sectoral work and multidisciplinary education, I firmly believe in cross-disciplinary research. I currently serve as the Consulting Editor for the Journal of Public Health Management and Practice. My Google Scholar Profile is at https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=XFEt8ckAAAAJ&hl=en
