Introduction
My work is aimed to characterize biodiversity at the genetic, specific and phylogenetic levels and the comprehension of processes that promote differentiation. Research areas include: A) Phylogenetic systematics: classification and historical biogeography and B) Phylogeography: taxonomy and patterns and processes of differentiation. These studies are collection based and integrate tree based analyses and the usage of bioinformatic tools.
