Introduction
Violinist GUILLAUME TARDIF performs internationally as soloist with orchestra, as concertmaster and conductor, and in various recital and chamber music settings in Canada, and abroad. He has produced several CD recordings, presented several new or neglected works, and has led innovative performance projects. He has also published various articles on the history and practice of the violin. He is Associate Professor and String Area Coordinator at the Department of Music, U of Alberta, Canada.
