昨今, 居眠り運転が原因となる死亡交通事故が相次いで問題となっている. この現状の防止策として, 運転中の覚醒度を向上させるために香り・音楽・振動などのフィードバック検討されているが, 効果は十分とは言い難い. そこで, 本研究では, 覚醒度を向上するための新たな刺激として, 皮膚上の近傍に温・冷刺激を同時に提示した際に生じる温度錯覚現象「サーマルグリル錯覚(以下TGI)」に注目した. TGI提示を行う小型デバイスを開発し, TGI発生要件の検証を行った結果, 発生要件を明確にした. 今後はTGIをフィードバックとした各精度向上の効果有無を検証し, TGIの有効性を確かめていく.

食事中の咀嚼の回数が少ないと肥満につながる.また,食事中の会話は健康に関連があることより,食事中に会話することが望ましい.他にも,従来の咀嚼の測定装置は大きく持ち運びができないため,日常で使用することは難しい.そこで本研究では,自然な食事環境下での食事行動の定量化を実現することを目的とし,自然な食事環境に対応した咀嚼・嚥下・発話の高精度分類を目標とする.システムは骨伝導マイクロフォンとフィードバックに使用するスマートフォンから構成される.ウェアラブルデバイスを用いた食事行動の定量化の研究は今までにも行われているが,実験的な環境でのテストしか行われていない.この研究では,日常的な食事環境での食事音声データを収集し,分類手法を評価,咀嚼・嚥下・発話の分類最適化の手法を提案する.

デスクワーク時に休憩を挟むことで精神疲労による集中力の低下を防ぐことができるが,現状の精神疲労度合いを計測するシステム(ATMT,VAS等)は作業を中断しなくてはならない.そこで本研究では,デスクワーク時の作業を想定した課題を行っている間の心拍変動から,精神疲労度合いを推定することは可能であるか検証を行った.その結果,精神疲労は心拍に影響を及ぼすと共に,pNN25,pNN50,SD2,kurtosisは精神疲労推定において重要な指標であることが示唆された.
