Introduction
My research interest focuses on the economic, social, and political implications of oil revenues management. I am paying specific attention to the political effects of natural resources in the Caspian Sea Basin regions, including Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and Russia. I am providing an analysis of the oil-gas revenue revenues fueled the fire of corruption and authoritarianism, the correlation between rentier's state, and challenges for the transition into democracy.
