Este proyecto intentará generar conocimientos que permitan comprender mejor cómo interactúan el clima, el manejo del pastoreo y los atributos ecosistémicos como controles del proceso de desertificación y resiliencia de pastizales semiáridos. Además se busca contribuir a desarrollar indicadores para monitorear la desertificación y los efectos del cambio climático y aportar bases para generar prácticas de manejo sustentable de los pastizales de la región.
