The project will provide validated, optimised and reliable geometrical conditions of measurement of the road surface reflectance spatial distribution characteristics (luminance coefficient) and data. In EU countries about 2 10^6 km of road are lit with lighting system designed on road luminance coefficient data older than 40 years. The results of this project will improve safety and visual comfort and implement smart lighting, smart cities evolution and future self driving car.
