Introduction
Giuseppe Barbiero is Assistant Professor in Ecology and Head of LEAF, 'The Laboratory of Affective Ecology' at the University of Valle d'Aosta. He is co-editor of 'Visions for Sustainability'. His main research interests are Biophilia hypothesis, Gaia hypothesis, and Biophilic Design.
He is author of: "Ecologia affettiva" (Mondadori, Milano IT, 2017) and "Introduzione alla biofilia" (together with Rita Berto, Carocci, Roma IT).
