My research concerns Late Antiquity and Early Medieval epochs emphasizing archaeology, architecture, iconography, liturgy, funerary practices, churches, cities, villages, villae, Visigoths, paleopathology. Recent projects include the fortifications of Carcassonne, the Corpus architecturae religiosae Europeae (s. IV-X)–CARE-Hispania and Ecclesiae, coemeteria et loci (s. VIII-XI)/Churches, cemeteries and sites including three major sites: Olerdola, Sidillà, Sant Quirze de Colera and Abrera
