Introduction
I am a neuroethologist. My principal interest is social cognition and behavior. My main interest is to understand how societies and social brains work and evolve. My work involves neurophysiological, morphological and behavioral techniques in the study of social insects. I have focused mainly in olfactory sensory codification and the processing of information in the higher brain centers of insects called Mushroom Bodies, trying to stablish the structure and function of social brains.
