Introduction
My scientific activity has developed along 3 lines of research: the economic and social history of the Middle Ages through the analysis of commercial sources and the Mediterranean market; the history of women, of monasticism. Currently I'm collaborating in international Digital Humanities projects with integrated approaches to the management and valorization of cultural heritage and the digital edition of archives.

The work illustrates some aspects of woman’s Middle Ages with help of unpublished letters found in the Archives of "Centre Borja" of S. Cugat del Vallés (Barcelona).
