Introduction
Geeta Kashyap has worked as a Teaching Associate at IIMC, Delhi, and was a Research Scholar at the Central University of Himachal Pradesh, Dharamshala. Before moving to Auckland, she was an Assistant Professor at Christ University, Bangalore.
Geeta does research in Journalism Studies, Digital Journalism, Data Journalism, Communication, and Media. She is interested in Quantitative Social Research and has been in academia for more than seven years in different roles and capacities.

I have gathered quantitative data through content analysis and it is nominal data. I want to check the influence between two variables. So, Chi-square test of independence is appropriate for it? please suggest.
