Introduction
Galuh Syahbana Indraprahasta currently works at the Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI), Jakarta, Indonesia. He also teaches and supervises master and doctoral degree students at IPB University, Indonesia. He is a (social and economic) geographer by training and has a broad spectrum of interests centered around urban and regional studies. Galuh was a PhD researcher at the Social and Economic Geography (SEG) research unit, Department of Geography, Ghent University (UGent), Ghent, Belgium.
