1) To check the direct impact of poverty on the affective state of the poor and, simultaneously, to test this effect of persisting in poverty (double effect) in Slovak conditions. 2) To verify deterioration in cognitive performance as a direct consequence of poverty (Mani et al., 2013) while complementing with control effect of affective state as a mediator. 3) To verify the deterioration of self-control as a result of poverty (Vohs, 2013) and, in case of confirmation of its worsening, to test its relationship to persisting in poverty (double effect). 4) To check the relationship of poverty to more complex personal and personality characteristics of poor people, particularly to mental health, life goals, value orientations, volitional processes and personality traits. 5) To examine the effect of psychological protective mechanisms (e.g. belief in a just world, Džuka, Dalbert, 2002; resilience, Kebza, Šolcová, 2008) in relation to the psychological consequences of poverty.

Analýza súčasnej legislatívnej úpravy trestného činu sexuálneho zneužitia a vybraných čiastkových procesnoprávnych aspektov v oblasti jeho vyšetrovania. Navrhnutie legislatívnych úprav, vypracovanie odporúčaní pre orgány činné v trestnom konaní a súdy v oblasti spôsobu vedenia výsluchu dieťaťa a zverenej osoby. Vytvorenie príručky pre znalcov, ktorí sú k predmetným kauzám prizývaní. Vymedzenie kriminologického pohľadu na obete CSA z hľadiska prevencie a ochrany obetí. Vytvorenie manuálu pre pracovníkov v oblasti sociálnoprávnej ochrany detí a sociálnej kurately, akým spôsobom možno rozoznať CSA, a kedy ide pravdepodobne len o falošné podozrenie.
