Introduction
Therapeutic hypothermia (TH) has been used in clinical care for decades. However, molecular mechanisms behind the protective effect of TH are not understood. The requirement for a fast cooling procedure indicates more likely the recruitment of thermosensors. Our approach relies on a multi-scale integration and multi-parameters analysis to decipher if and how the TRPM8 cold-receptor is involved in TH.
