Project
The goal is to create a simulation environment based on the Revised Parallel DEVS (RPDEVS) formalism. In combination with QSS, we hope to create a tool, capable of simulating hybrid systems with a high temporal performance. RPDEVS modifies Parallel DEVS with the goal to increase model re-usability and transparency of model behavior in situations where concurrent events occur (transitory states). Since PowerDEVS is open source and offers a quite comfortable graphical user interface, we decided to simply reprogram the simulation engine of PowerDEVS. The result is called PowerRPDEVS.
