Introduction
Frank Hayford currently works at the Department of Dietetics, College of Health Sciences,University of Ghana. Frank's research focus are in the areas of Medical/Clinical Nutrition, Public Nutrition (nutrition epidemiology) and Nutrition in sports, with special interest in Nutrition and Immunology. My current project is in host-directed therapeutics, using N-3 LCPUFA as adjunct treatment in infectious diseases like TB.

  • A Dietician, Lecturer and researcher in the Medical Nutrition management of diseases. Have been involved in nutrition and dietetics education since 2007, with a strong interest in Immunology and nutrition, public health nutrition, and nutrition in sports. As a lecturer at the university, I am also involved in the supervision and mentoring of both undergraduate and post graduate students. I am currently involved in a research, investigating the potent use of n-3LUPUFAS as adjunct TB treatment
