Introduction
In our laboratory of viral diseases at Sciensano, we are involved in epidemiological and clinical studies concerning human respiratory viruses (Influenza, RSV, hMPV, PIV,...) and we are conducting some research projects on the modulation of immune responses upon infection with Pneumoviridae, Coronaviridae and influenza viruses.
I am also interested to decipher the molecular mechanisms of the Flavivirus pathogenicity, especially tick-borne encephalitis viruses (TBEV).
